Kalka rail head has regular trains to Chandigarh and Delhi, including Shatabdi and Vande Bharat. HRTC and private buses connect to major North Indian cities. Chandigarh is 117 km, Delhi 343 km via overnight AC buses from ISBT Kashmiri Gate. Helicopter service from Chandigarh airport takes 30 minutes to Shimla airport.
